Professional Background
Dr. Roy completed his undergraduate education at New York University, where he majored in English Literature while completing pre-medical studies and graduated with honors. He earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical School, also graduating with honors.
He completed his surgical internship and residency in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Roy pursued additional advanced training with world-renowned facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon Devinder S. Mangat, MD, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Roy is board-certified in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Medical Association. He is actively engaged in clinical research and has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and medical textbook chapters.
